Riverside County Office on Aging, under the Federal Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act, is charged to provide leadership in developing a system of care services for older persons and adults with disabilities in Riverside County. Under the governance of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors and a 17 member citizen Advisory Council, the Office on Aging provides customer-centered services based on the vision, purpose, core value, and promise statement defined in the Strategic Plan 2012-2016: Focusing on a Healthy Tomorrow.

RTA provides both local and regional services throughout the region with 36 fixed-routes, eight CommuterLink routes, and Dial-A-Ride services using 266 vehicles.

All RTA buses are easily accessible to persons with disabilities and older adults. Ramps and lifts are available on all vehicles for your convenience.

RTA has more than 3,200 bus stops at shopping malls, neighborhoods, colleges, transit centers, and entertainment and employment centers across western Riverside County and beyond.

Adult Protective Services (APS) provides a system of in-person response, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, APS Social Workers receive and respond to reports of dependent adult and elder abuse of individuals in Riverside County. We serve dependent adults (age 18 and older) and the elderly (age 65 and older). The goal of APS is to intervene and assist elder or dependent adults to alleviate physical, sexual and financial abuse, neglect, isolation and abandonment, abduction and mental suffering.
