Kay Ceniceros Senior Center

The City of Menifee officially assumed ownership of the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center on July 1, 2014. The Center was originally constructed by the County of Riverside in 1990, and was expanded to include the north east building in 2012.

Onsite Facilities:

The Kay Ceniceros Senior Center includes two (2) large multi-purpose rooms, and two (2) smaller classroom sized rooms. Rooms are available for rentals to residents and interested groups. For additional information on rentals please see "Facility Reservations".


Senior Center Activities:


Programs and activities covering a wide range of interests take place at the center on a daily basis.

Senior Nutrition Program:
Family Service Association (FSA) operates the Senior Nutrition Program at the Kay Ceniceros Senior Center throughout the year.

​Kay Ceniceros Senior Center Activities:

The Kay Ceniceros Senior Center provides a wide variety of programs and classes, ranging from fitness classes to quilting classes:

Exercise classes

: Including but not limited to, Chair Volleyball, Exercise (Low-Impact), Geri-Fit Strength Class, Geri-Fit Stretch Class, Personal Trainer Program, Soul Line Dancing, T’ai Chi Chih, Walking Club, Zumba Gold, Zumba Regular, Zumba Toning.

Enrichment Classes: 

 Including but not limited to, Ballroom Dancing, Bereavement Group, Bid Whist, Blues Club, Blues Club Spanish, Bridge, Cards, Care Pathways, Care Connexxus Support Group, Chess, Conversational Spanish, ESL (English As-A-Second Language), Fundamentals of Art, Mah Jongg, Paint Party, Projects with Yarn, Quilting, Scrabble, Texas Hold’Em, Cool Center, Weight Watchers, Wii Game Day.

Monthly Meetings/Classes/Activities: I

ncluding but not limited to, AARP Driver Safety Program, Arts Council Menifee Visual Committee, Assemblywoman Melendez’ Mobile Office, Bagels & Books, Friendship Unlimited, Inland Counties Legal Services, Movie Day.
