On Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012, from 12pm - 1pm at the City of Menifee Veterans Memorial at Wheatfield Park (La Piedra at Menifee Road), the City will be hosting a remembrance event in honor of men and women who have died in military service to our country. The City will be giving away flags to those that attend for the purpose of planting them around the memorial in remembrance of those that lost their lives serving our great nation. The City understands that many have traditional locations that they go to pay their respects, but will also have this opportunity to honor our fallen heroes. The event is free.
