2020 General Municipal Election
The City Clerk serves as the Elections Official and is responsible for issuing and accepting candidate Nomination Papers and City Measures.
The City of Menifee will hold a General Election on November 3, 2020 for the purpose of electing three City Council seats as: District 1, District 3, and Mayor at-large. Information regarding the 2020 Election will be listed below as it is updated. The City will provide the Official Election Results on or before December 4, 2020.
Ballot Drop Off and Voter Assistance Center Voter Information
For the November 3, 2020 Election, Riverside County Registrar of Voters will be deploying a new election model. This will offer voters more ways and more days to vote safely. Each eligible registered voter for the November 3, 2020 General Election will receive a ballot by mail beginning Monday, October 5, 2020 in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order. Here is what you need to know about returning your ballot:
- Drop off your Vote-By-Mail ballot to Menifee City Hall Monday - Thursday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, or any of the County's 80 secure Ballot Drop-Off locations beginning October 5. The view a listed of Ballot Drop-Off Locations, Click Here.
- Mail your Vote-By-Mail ballot via USPS, no postage required. Recommended to mail early.
- Vote in person at any Riverside County Voter Assistance Center from October 31 - November 3. To view a list of the Voter Assistance Center locations, Click Here.
- The Riverside County Registrar of Voters recommends that voters only use the in-person Voter Assistance Centers if absolutely necessary, as the generalized use of in-person voting presents risks to public health and safety in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Social distancing will be required when visiting a Voter Assistance Center
- Face coverings are strongly encouraged

The Following Measure has Qualified for the November 3, 2020 Ballot.
MEASURE M:
Shall the measure repealing the voter-approved, locally-controlled Measure DD sales tax generating over $10,000,000 per year in local funding that cannot be taken by the state used to maintain Menifee 911 emergency response; school and police patrols; street and road repairs; traffic reduction; senior and youth programs; parks and other general services, be adopted?
