Mayor Bill Zimmerman

Mayor Bill Zimmerman purchased a new home in Menifee in 1989. He and his wife Julie raised their daughter here and have been active volunteers in the community. When Menifee incorporated in 2008, Bill was appointed to the inaugural Planning Commission. He also served on the City's Parks, Recreation & Trails Commission. He was elected to MSJC's Board of Trustees in 2014 where he served as Chairman in 2018. Bill served as a County Trails Committee member from 2012 to 2015 and as a Parks District Advisory Commissioner representing District V for the Riverside County Parks & Open Space District from 2015 to 2018. His family enjoys camping and off-roading and finds time to play music with friends. Bill attended Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California from 1981-1984. 

Bill serves on the Board for Boys & Girls Club, Menifee Valley Historical Association, and is President of the Antelope-Menifee Rural Center Board. Bill has served on annual LCAP Committees and Bond Oversight Committees for the Menifee Union School District. He is past President of Arts Council Menifee and attends Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce regular meetings.
