LEARN MORE ABOUT COUNCILMEMBER LIESEMEYER
Personal Background: Councilmember Matthew Liesemeyer, his wife Jen, and their daughter moved into their first Menifee home in 2001. Previously, he lived in Temecula for fifteen years and worked for a land surveyor. After being immersed in land surveying for an extensive amount of time, he eventually transitioned to the office side of that career working on mapping projects, grading planes, and commercial development projects. In 2006, he became involved with Menifee's incorporation efforts and later served on the Menifee Planning Commission for six years. In 2014 he ran for City Council against the incumbent and two others and secured his seat. Matthew went to Palomar College and Mt. San Jacinto College and received degrees in Survey Mapping and Cadastral Surveying. With over 20 years in the development industry, he brings his unique background in both construction and planning/engineering to the Menifee City Council.
Community Involvement: Matthew serves on the Quail Valley Coalition, working hard to overcome sewer challenges for Quail Valley.
