Please note, the City of Menifee City Hall is closed to the public until further notice due to the latest orders by the Riverside County Public Health Official in an effort to stem the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, City Hall will be open for business virtually.

Meetings
In person meetings at City Hall may be scheduled when City Hall is open to the public. We encourage continued use of video/phone meetings.

Planning Division
We will continue to accept and encourage electronic submittals. If hard copies are required, these will only be accepted by mail and when City Hall is open to the public. We will be accepting electronic submittals at planning_submittals@cityofmenifee.us.

Roles and Responsibilities

The role of the Community Development Department is to implement the City’s vision and goals for community development and land use as established in the General Plan and Development Code.

Responsibilities include a wide range of activities ranging from processing residential, commercial and industrial land use requests/applications, environmental review and long range planning of the community by way of preparing and updating the General Plan and Development Code.
