Having just celebrated its 13th birthday of incorporation, Menifee achieved another milestone: reaching a population of 102,527 and becoming the third-fastest growing city in California, according to the latest U.S. Census figures.

Menifee grew by 25,008 residents – more than 32% – between the 2010 and 2020 Census. Additionally, Menifee has been listed by the Department of Finance as the second-fastest growing city in Riverside County (for cities with a population over 30,000) and the third-fastest growing in Riverside County overall, from January 2020 to January 2021.

As a result of the updated Census figures, the City will redraw its voting districts over the next few months to reflect the population changes, with approval of the final district maps by next April.

Redistricting is a collaborative process that focuses on public engagement through community workshops and outreach, starting with a public forum on November 3 at 6:15 p.m. in the City Council chambers. More information on redistricting is available at www.cityofmenifee.us/redistricting
