The public is invited to a community meeting on Tuesday, October 19, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 29844 Haun Rd. Staff will share the concept plans and look for community input.
Also known as an in-law unit or granny flat, an ADU is an attached or detached structure on a residential lot that provides independent living facilities for one or more persons. The City’s current program would offer plans for detached ADUs.
The permit-ready ADU plans will be available to homeowners early next year. They are designed to expedite the permitting process, save money for property owners, and help meet state requirements to increase affordable housing stock in California.
