[ARCHIVED] Menifee Street Project and Construction Updates - Week of October 3, 2022

Murrieta Road at Newport Road

Night work has temporarily concluded on this project. Daytime work will continue at the intersection of Murrieta Road and Newport Road and traffic control will remain in place during the project work. Please visit www.emwd.org/MurrietaRoad for additional updates on this project.

Murrieta Road and Sun City Boulevard – Traffic Signal Improvements – Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Project

Sun City Boulevard is now open at Murrieta Road. Additional work will continue on the project through mid-November.

Scott Road between Menifee Road and Briggs Road – Sumac Ridge Utility Work

Street improvements continue on Scott Road and Lindenberger Road. Work is expected to continue through the end of September.

Garbani Road and Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvements

Traffic signal improvement work continues with intermittent traffic control operations occurring near this intersection. Flagmen remain present to assist with traffic flow as shoulder and drainage improvements continue.

Newport Road and Murrieta Road – SCE Vault and Conduit Installation

SCE work on this project on Murrieta Road, north of Newport Road, continues during daytime hours. Traffic control will be set up and removed daily as needed.

Barnett Road and McLaughlin Road – Road Closure Effective July 5

Barnett Road remains closed between McLaughlin Road and Patricia Lane. This section of roadway is expected to remain closed for the remainder of the week while the existing dirt roadway is paved by the developer of a nearby residential project.

Murrieta Road at Rouse Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project

Intermittent traffic control will take place as the contractor continues to construct the new traffic signals. The project is expected to continue through mid-November.

La Piedra Road at Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project

Intermittent traffic control will take place as the contractor continues to construct the new traffic signals. The project is expected to continue through mid-November.

McCall Square Traffic Signal

Work continues on the traffic signal and median at McCall Boulevard and Ranch Road as part of the McCall Square project. Construction is expected to be completed over the next two months.

*NEW* Banner Park Street Paving

Developer paving work will take place in the area of Lindenberger Road and Domenigoni Parkway from Friday, September 30 through Saturday, October 1. Traffic delays and detours should be expected through this area during that time.
