[ARCHIVED] Menifee Street Project and Construction Updates - Week of October 31, 2022

The City has project and construction updates to share with the community:

Murrieta Road at Newport Road

Daytime work will be limited to sidewalk repairs and filling the newly placed water line. Traffic control will be placed as needed. 

Murrieta Road and Sun City Boulevard – Traffic Signal Improvements – Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Project 

Sun City Boulevard is now open at Murrieta Road. Additional work will continue on the project through middle of November.

Scott Road between Menifee Road and Briggs Road – Sumac Ridge Utility Work 

Street improvements continue on Scott Road and Lindenberger Road. Work is expected to continue through middle of November.

Garbani Road and Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvements 

Traffic signal improvement work continues with intermittent traffic control operations occurring near this intersection. Flagmen remain present to assist with traffic flow during shoulder and drainage improvements.

Newport Road and Murrieta Road – SCE Vault and Conduit Installation 

SCE nighttime work is temporarily suspended until a schedule is determined. 

Murrieta Road at Rouse Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project

Intermittent traffic control will take place as the contractor continues to construct the new traffic signals. The project is expected to continue through the middle of November.

La Piedra Road at Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvement Project 

Intermittent traffic control will take place as the contractor continues to construct the new traffic signals. The project is expected to continue through the end of November.

McCall Square Traffic Signal

Work continues on the traffic signal and median at McCall Boulevard and Ranch Road as part of the McCall Square project. Construction is expected to continue through December.
