SCAM ALERT!
Please be advised that there is a community event being advertised on social media that has not been authorized by the City of Menifee. A similar flyer has shown up in other cities across the United States.
The alleged event is called “Winter Festival/Winterfest” and promotes it is taking place at Spirit Park on Feb. 18-19. This event has not been authorized by the City of Menifee. Spirit Park cannot accommodate an event of this size and would have been referred to another park site within Menifee.
Please do not purchase booth space for this event! If you have already paid for this event, please contact your local police department to file a report.
