For a fifth consecutive year, the City of Menifee has been named a Top Workplace by the Inland News Group, which consists of several local newspapers including The Press-Enterprise, The Sun, The Redland Daily Facts, and the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin.
The annual Top Workplaces program invites hundreds of businesses and thousands of employees in Riverside and San Bernadino Counties to participate in a unanimous survey rating their workplace on benefits, leadership, training, compensation, and most noteworthy, workplace culture. The City of Menifee was the only city awarded the distinction out of the 37 organizations selected from public, private, nonprofit, and government agencies from the two-county designation.
“Embracing a positive work culture that encourages employee collaboration and innovation is what has helped Menifee earn this tremendous honor for five consecutive years,” said City Manager Armando G. Villa. “Investing in our team here at the City of Menifee has allowed us to achieve great success in delivering high-quality projects, programs, and services that enhance the quality of life for our community.”
The Top Workplaces program, created by Energage in 2006, maintains the value that "the most successful companies are the ones that employees believe in." A company's designation and ranking as a Top Workplace are determined and calculated based on employee input by Energage's Workplace Dynamics, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. More than one million people complete the survey about their respective organizations each year.
