SCE Work on Menifee Road – Holland to Newport
Southern California Edison (SCE) began trenching new power lines along Menifee Road, from Newport Road to Holland Road. Work is being performed throughout daytime and nighttime hours with ane closures in full effect during the construction. Message boards containing contact information for the project will also be place in project area. Work in this area is expected to continue through the middle of April 2023.
Holland Road Overpass – City Capital Improvement Project
The City has begun construction work related to the Holland Road Overpass project. Holland Road between Hanover Road and Antelope Road will remain closed for the duration of the project, which is expected to last 18 months. Menifee Road Improvement Project – City Capital Improvement Project
The City’s Capital Improvement Project on Menifee Road between Holland Road and Camino Cristal is currently in active construction. Median work has been completed and roadway work on this project will resume mid-April due to current weather condition delays.
Cherry Hills Boulevard – Communications Utility Work
Work on this project has been completed and all traffic control has been removed from the area.
Garbani Road and Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvements
Traffic signal improvement work continues for this project. Temporary traffic control is expected to remain in place as necessary through the middle of April 2023.
McCall Square Traffic Signal
Work continues on the traffic signal and median at McCall Boulevard and Ranch Road as part of the McCall Square project. The construction schedule for this project has been extended and is now expected to continue through April 2023. Traffic control will remain in place for the duration of the project.
SoCal Gas Company – Gas Line Installation Project
SoCal Gas Company continues the installation of new pipeline infrastructure in the vicinity of Evans Road and Lazy Creek Road. Lane closures will remain in place for the next several months to support the project.
Matthews Road Closed at Menifee Road – SoCal Gas Company Work
Matthews Road will be closed at Menifee Road during daytime hours while SoCal Gas Company constructs improvements. Work is expected to continue through the end of March 2023. Traffic control will be in place during active construction.
