*NEW* – Valley Boulevard between McCall Boulevard and Ridgemoor Street
The developer of Cimarron Ridge will begin installing underground improvements the week of Monday, April 24. The area of Valley Boulevard between McCall Boulevard and Ridgemoor Street will be subject to lane closures during this work. Traffic delays should be expected in the area through mid-May 2023.
Holland Road Overpass – City Capital Improvement Project
The City is actively performing work related to the Holland Road Overpass project. Holland Road between Hanover Lane and Antelope Road will remain closed for the duration of the project, which is expected to last 17 months. There will also be alternating lane closures on the I-215 Freeway from Newport Road to Scott Road during the week of Sunday, April 23. Up to two lanes will be closed and one lane will remain open as work is being completed. Expected dates and times are listed below:
- Sunday, April 23 – Thursday, April 27
- Southbound I-215: 8 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Northbound I-215: 9 p.m. – 5 a.m.
- Friday, April 28
- Northbound I-215: 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Southbound I-215: 11 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Evans Road Closed Between Holland Road and Corson Avenue
The developers of The Menifee 80 and Quartz Ranch residential housing developments have completed roadway improvements on Evans Road. Evans Road is now open.
Menifee Road Improvement Project – City Capital Improvement Project
Paving work on City’s Capital Improvement Project on Menifee Road between Holland Road and Camino Cristal is now in progress. Paving and striping work is expected to be completed by the end of April.
Garbani Road and Menifee Road – Traffic Signal Improvements
The traffic signal improvement work at the intersection of Garbani Road and Menifee Road has been completed. The new traffic signal is in operation and lanes are open in all directions.
SCE Work on Menifee Road – Newport to Holland
Southern California Edison (SCE) began trenching new power lines along Menifee Road, from Newport Road to Holland Road. Work is currently active during daytime and nighttime hours at the intersection of Newport Road and Menifee Road. Traffic control will be in place during project work. Message boards containing contact information for the project will also be placed in the project area. Work in this area is expected to continue through the end of April 2023.
McCall Square Traffic Signal
Traffic signal and median work continues at McCall Boulevard and Ranch Road as part of the McCall Square project. The construction schedule for this project has been extended and is now expected to continue through April 2023. Traffic control will remain in place for the duration of the project.
SoCal Gas Company – Gas Line Installation Project
SoCal Gas Company continues the installation of new pipeline infrastructure in the vicinity of Evans Road and Lazy Creek Road. Lane closures will remain in place for the next several months to support the project.
Matthews Road Closed at Menifee Road – SoCal Gas Company Work
Matthews Road will be closed at Menifee Road during daytime hours while SoCal Gas Company constructs improvements. Due to weather delays, work on this project has been extended and is expected to continue through April 2023. Traffic control will be in place during active construction.
