With heavy rainfall expected in Menifee this weekend, please see the updates below:
UPDATE 8/19 at 11:45 a.m.: Facilities are currently being restocked with sand and sandbags over the next two hours and will be available while supplies last. For those unable to secure sandbags at City facilities, trashbags and flowerbed sand/soil can serve as an alternative.
The following facilities will be closed (Sunday 8/20 & Monday 8/21):
- Audie Murphy Ranch Skate Park
- Gale Webb Pump Track - Dirt Jump Lines
- City of Menifee Sports Fields
Residents can pick-up free self-serve sandbags at following locations:
- Menifee Fire Stations (sand will be available after 12 p.m. today, August 18)
- Station 5: 28971 Goetz Rd.
- Station 76: 29950 Menifee Rd.
- Station 68: 26020 Wickerd Rd.
- Public Works and Maintenance Operations Center (MOC)| 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Don’t forget to:
- Slow down
- Turn your headlights on
- Follow posted traffic signs
- Maintain a safe distance from other cars
- Give yourself extra time for travel
- Avoid standing water
- Defog your windows
- Make sure your windshield wipers are in good condition
