In an effort to continue to provide the community with safe, reliable and quality water service, the Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) will be replacing its existing 12-inch water line that runs along the western portion of McCall Boulevard in the city of Menifee. Construction began in mid-October and is scheduled to conclude in fall of 2021. This project is necessary as the current water line is reaching the end of its usable life.
In order to complete construction, lane closures will occur along McCall Boulevard for the remainder of the project. The City of Menifee appreciates your patience as EMWD begins construction on this large project that will ultimately improve the reliability of water services in the city. The completion of this project will ensure high quality water to homes and businesses and enhance public safety through the delivery of sufficient water pressure and the ability to support fire fighting services.
If you have any questions about this project, please direct them to Amanda Fine at Eastern Municipal Water District. Email or call Ms. Fine at finea@emwd.org or (951) 928-3777 ext. 4206.
Once again, the City thanks our residents for their patience as EMWD completes this project.
