AMR Skate Park Reopening Monday, December 28

Skate Park Closed

The Audie Murphy Ranch (AMR) Skate Park will be closed through Sunday, December 27, reopening with modified holiday hours on December 28. Like the vast majority of workplaces, the City of Menifee Community Services Department—which operates the skate park—has been impacted by staff shortages due to COVID-19. Because of this, the City had to make the difficult decision to focus its available staff on essential services, including meals for seniors and families who are in most need.

The City understands what an important resource the AMR Skate Park is for members of the Menifee community and surrounding areas and did not come to this decision easily. Ultimately, the health and safety of City staff and the public are the first priority.

In order to serve the community, particularly local youth who are on break from school over the holidays, the City has created a staffing plan that allows the skate park to reopen on December 28 with daily modified holiday hours of 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. through January 10. Plans at this time are to return to normal hours on Monday, January 11.

The Audie Murphy Ranch Skate Park is located at 30376 Lone Pine Drive on the east side of the 11-acre Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park.

Please call the Community Services Department at (951) 723-3880 with any questions.
