This City of Menifee is proud to support the dedication of the City Clerk’s Department during Municipal Clerks Week. May 2 – 8 is recognized each year as Municipal Clerks Week and during the May 5, 2021 Menifee City Council Meeting, City Manager Armando G. Villa recognized Menifee’s City Clerk team. While not always seen in the forefront, the City Clerk serves as the professional link between citizens, local governing bodies, and government agencies.
City Manager Villa expressed his appreciation for the City Clerk staff, particularly during this past year. “Since March 2020, Menifee’s City Clerk team has had to display incredible flexibility and dedication to their role and ensuring our residents are able to participate in the public process. For all of their effort this past year and throughout our cityhood, we would like to thank and recognize our City Clerk’s Department and, in particular, our City Clerk, Sarah Manwaring.
The City Clerk’s role within a local government organizing is essential to a fair and transparent public process.
