Excessive heat weather warnings have been issued for California with record-breaking temperatures expected.
Heat stroke and heat exhaustion can be dangerous so the Audie Murphy Ranch Skate Park will be closed to keep Menifee residents safe. Weather conditions will be assessed each day for the remainder of the week to see if it is safe to open up.
If you happen to be out and about this this week, make sure you:
- Stay hydrated
- Pace your activity
- Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose clothing
- Never leave a person or pet in the car
