The City of Menifee’s Finance team has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This accomplishment marks the 10th year receiving this prestigious award, which is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting.
The report was judged by an impartial panel and determined to meet the high standards of the GFOA program. These standards include demonstrating a “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate Menifee’s financial story. The award also highlights that the City’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) is written in a way that motivates constituents to read the report.
