The City of Menifee is currently accepting applications to fill a vacancy on Menifee's Parks, Recreation, and Trails Commission (PRTC). Interested persons can apply to fill the vacancy in the office of the City Clerk. Applications will be accepted until August 27, 2021, at 5:00 PM. Appointment to the Commission is expected to take place on or after September 15, 2021.
The position will require attendance at a regular scheduled monthly meeting held the first Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. and other special meetings as called. The eligibility requires that the person must be a current city resident, a registered voter, and not be a member of any other city commission, city office, or a city employee. The individual selected to serve will take an oath and agree to an ethics code. The term of office will run concurrent with the term of the appointing Councilmember for District 3.
